Man dies after being pulled from Chicago River downtown

Chicago police are conducting a death investigating after a man was pulled from the Chicago River downtown Friday afternoon.

The 63-year-old man was found unresponsive in the water in the 300 block of South Wacker Drive around 1:20 p.m., Chicago police said.

He was taken to Insight Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name hasn’t been released.
