Letter: After this election, I am ashamed of my country

For the first time in my almost 80 years, I am ashamed of my country.  There are only two reasons for anyone to vote for Trump. Either you are a millionaire or billionaire or a moron.  Since I don’t think there are that many millionaires and billionaires in this country, draw your own conclusions.

Here are my predictions as to what this country can expect.  The deportation of all immigrants will lead to a shortage of workers to do jobs white people will not do and thus there will be shortages in food supplies.

Women will die from pregnancy problems because doctors are already afraid to treat them.

Schools will be forced to teach religion and money that should go to public schools will be diverted to private religious schools leading to an even larger base of uneducated children resulting in more crime as these uneducated children support themselves in the only way possible – by stealing.

By lowering taxes for the wealthy and not taxing tips and Social Security, less money will be paid into Social Security and Medicare, resulting in millions of seniors forced to live on the streets. This satisfies the Republicans dream of starving Social Security and Medicare to death.

Tariffs will result in higher prices for everything imported thus worsening inflation.

With Kennedy in charge of our health care, the pandemic will look like a bad flu epidemic as he gets rid of all vaccinations that have prevented polio and other diseases.

Nearly 138,000 beds under recall after reports of them breaking, collapsing

I don’t have any extra sensory perception.  Just something sadly lacking, common sense and many of my predictions have come true in the past.
