Man fatally shot after argument in Englewood

A man was fatally shot Wednesday night in Englewood on the South Side.

About 9:20 p.m., the 36-year-old man was arguing with a two people in the 7000 block of South Ashland Avenue when one of them opened fire, Chicago police said.

The unidentified man was shot twice in the chest and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he died, police said.

Area 1 detectives are investigating but no arrests have been made.
