Westbound lanes of Interstate 80 were closed at Harlem Avenue on Tuesday after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, Illinois State Police said.
The incident was reported at 10:34 a.m. and prompted authorities to close the westbound lanes while the crash was investigated.
No information about the victim’s condition or injuries was immediately available.
