The crash happened just before 8 p.m. Saturday on North Lake Drive, Antioch police Lt. Joe Njoroge said in a news release. Officers arrived to find the driver unresponsive on the ground.

Paramedics transported the man to an area hospital with major injuries, according to Njoroge.

An initial investigation revealed the driver was speeding eastbound on North Lake Drive when he veered off the roadway and crashed into a parked vehicle, Njoroge said.
