With the clock at zero, Washington rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels launched a 52-yard Hail Mary that bounced off Chicago defenders into the waiting arms of Noah Brown to give the Commanders an 18-15 win.
Daniels, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, outdueled the No. 1 pick, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, in their first-ever head-to-head meeting in the NFL.
