A person was killed in a traffic collision on Interstate 580 in Oakland on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
The driver of a white Toyota Camry died after the car collided with a semi-truck at around 3:10 p.m. near the I-980 interchange, according to the California Highway Patrol. No one else was injured.
The interchange remained closed Saturday evening.
