A man was found shot to death Wednesday in Auburn Gresham on the South Side.
Responding officers found the 34-year-old in a stairwell of an apartment building about 8:20 p.m. in the 7800 block of South Marshfield Avenue, Chicago police said.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to his chest and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Circumstances of the shooting were not known. No arrests were reported.
