<p id=”par-1_52″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/kim-kardashian/”>Kim Kardashian</a> often applies cosmetic enhancements like <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/kim-kardashian-west-reveals-why-she-doesnt-always-shower-and-brush-her-hair.html/”>skincare regimens and makeup</a> to be as camera ready as possible. But the glamorous celebrity seems to call on more than traditional beauty routines to make sure she shines. According to one director, Kardashian is even particularly savvy when it comes to her camera shots.</p>

<p id=”par-2_73″>Kardashian showed one filmmaker just how much care <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/michael-ilesanmi-90-day-fiance-shuts-down-rumors-kim-kardashian-involved-divorce-case.html/”>the aspiring lawyer</a> puts into her image in the documentary <em>This Is Paris</em>. The 2020 Youtube film centered around media mogul and reality TV star Paris Hilton, exploring her growth and her past. Many celebrities familiar with the socialite appeared in the documentary, including Kardashian. When she filmed her scenes, however, the film’s director Alexandra Dean didn’t expect to see Kardashian take over the project.</p>
<p id=”par-3_20″>“Kim did not want me to shoot her trousers,” Dean said on <em><a href=”https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/this-is-paris-director-alexandra-dean-talks-all-things/id1496557812?i=1000494546246″>Behind the Velvet Rope With David Yontef </a></em>podcast.</p>
<p id=”par-4_41″>“Because she didn’t know that our lens was going to be as wide as it was,” Dean added. “So [Kim] didn’t want the interview to start until we changed the lens and she knew it was gonna be a mid shot.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_21″>Dean was so impressed by Kardashian’s awareness in the situation, that she was able to see how she became a star.</p>
<p id=”par-6_66″>“Kardashian takes it to another level. She has orchestrated everything around her before you get close to doing an interview,” she said. “I saw a real powerful, powerful intellect sitting across from me. She knew exactly what I was saying, exactly what [footage] I was going to use; her mind was way ahead of me. She was controlling everything in that room, noticed everything, saw everything.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_17″>Another takeaway Dean got from collaborating with Kardashian was how smart the <em>American Horror Story </em>star was.</p>
<p id=”par-8_57″><a></a> “She does everything. She’s brilliant. And she’s she’s way ahead of most people intellectually, which is why she was able to train herself to be a lawyer without going to law school, she’s doing the, you know, the, the president Lincoln apprenticeship program for lawyers, which is actually a really difficult thing to do,” Dean said.</p>

<p id=”par-9_96″>Kardashian has also applied a similar passion for camera work when it comes to her company Skims. She found the company in 2019, which specializes in creating a variety of outfits and health care products for its consumers. In an interview with <a href=”https://time.com/6289791/kim-kardashian-time-interview/”>Time</a>, Kardashian reflected on Skims’ success, which she considered perhaps one of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/fans-react-kim-kardashians-skkn-skin-care-line-prices.html/”>her most accomplished business ventures</a>. She revealed just how much time she dedicates to Skims, which included preparing for its commercials. Kardashian took control of the camera work in Skims’ commercials to make sure her company and its products looked their best.</p>
<p id=”par-10_63″>“I’ll get up, I’ll work out, I’ll take my kids to school and then I’ll come straight here to my office and have Skims meetings about what our next campaigns will look like and what our next commercial will look like and photographers and directors that I want to work with and who I think will be good for what campaign,” she said.</p>
