While playing a game with the hosts, Diddy quickly answered a question about what he hopes his last words will be. In the light of the still-accumulating <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/50-cent-posts-jab-diddy-indictment.html/”>accusations against him</a>, many social media users have said his choice has not aged well.</p>

<p id=”par-3_39″>In <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/cassie-ventura-couldnt-say-no-diddy-request-shave-head-whatever-sean-wants.html/”>the wake of allegations</a> of violence and sexual abuse against Diddy, the choice of final words seems more sinister than triumphant to many social media users. They have discussed the way Diddy’s choice of words sounds in hindsight.</p>
<p id=”par-4_18″>“You sure did, and that’s why you’re in jail buddy,” wrote one user in an <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DBXYJypMgmK/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> comment. </p>
<p id=”par-5_6″>“This didn’t age well,” commented another.</p>
<p id=”par-6_11″>Many other users noted that Usher seemed uncomfortable with Diddy’s comment.</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-sean-diddy-combs-is-currently-in-jail”>Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is currently in jail</h2>
<p id=”par-7_68″>Following his arrest, Diddy has been <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sean-p-diddy-combs-can-personal-items-jail.html/”>held in a Brooklyn jail</a> awaiting trial on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. A judge denied him bail, but he recently appealed the court’s decision. Per <a href=”https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/17/arts/music/sean-combs-diddy-bail-appeal-private-security.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The New York Times</a>, his legal team proposed placing him under house arrest, with an ever-present security team, no internet, and an approved list of guests. They also proposed setting a bond at $50 million.</p>
<p id=”par-8_7″>Prosecutors have pushed back against this plan.</p>
<p id=”par-9_32″>“The District Court rightly rejected Combs’s effort to pay his way out of detention,” they wrote, “when the record established that no set of conditions could ensure the safety of the community.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_15″>The prosecution added that his long record of avoiding justice proves how dangerous he is.</p>
<p id=”par-11_18″>“Combs’s longstanding and sophisticated methods of obstructing justice and silencing witnesses more than established his dangerousness,” they wrote.</p>
<p id=”par-12_10″>Diddy’s trial is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.</p>

<p id=”par-13_53″>Lawsuits against Diddy continue to pile up as he awaits trial. A number of celebrities have made an effort to distance themselves from him, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/diddy-family-tree-guide-sean-combs-kids-partners-parents-siblings.html/”>but his family</a> is sticking by his side. His children, Quincy Brown, Justin, Christian (King), Chance, Jessie, and D’Lila Combs released a joint statement in support of their father.</p>
