A man was fatally shot Thursday morning in Auburn Gresham on the South Side.
Just before 8 a.m., the man, 32, was in the 8600 block of South Morgan Street when two gunmen approached and opened fire, striking him in the chest and body, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The shooters got into a blue vehicle and fled north, officials said.
No one was in custody.
