<p id=”par-1_83″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/meghan-markle/?swcfpc=1″>Meghan Markle</a> and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-harry/?swcfpc=1″>Prince Harry</a> have been stepping out a lot lately for solo appearances and charity events. It’s no coincidence that the Duke of Sussex has been making stops in different cities all over the world for speaking engagements, to shake a few hands, and smile for the cameras. His highly-publicized appearances were done in an effort to repair his image and set up to take place just before the paperback edition of<em> <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harrys-memoir-spare-now-become-one-most-discarded-books-time.html/”>Spare</a></em> comes out and his <em>POLO</em> documentary drops on Netflix. </p>
<p id=”par-2_51″>As for the duchess, she’s been seen without her husband as well while her PR team wants to fix her reputation and take some focus off the “<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-dictator-high-heels-reduce-grown-men-tears-report.html/?swcfpc=&swcfpc=1″>dictator in high heels</a>” narrative and bad press she’s been getting lately. But all the good publicly seems to be going to Harry. </p>
<p id=”par-3_27″>Now, a royal author claimed that Meghan is having to try and remind people that she’s around too and would love some positivity to come her way.</p>

<p id=”par-4_27″>According to royal biographer Ingrid Seward, with all the good publicity blowing in Harry’s favor Meghan is left trying to be seen while her husband shines. </p>
<p id=”par-5_53″>As the prince was globe-trotting from one event to another, the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-getting-residual-checks-suits-surprise-streaming-success.html/”>former <em>Suits</em> star</a> attended a gala for Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. However, one of Meghan’s old pals who was also in attendance said the duchess wasn’t there very long and seems to have just <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-shares-reason-attended-la-gala-ex-pal-says-not-truth.html/?swcfpc=1″>used the occasion as a photo op</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-6_38″>Seward told <a href=”https://www.thesun.co.uk/royals/31021254/meghan-markle-wont-ever-be-forgiven/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Sun</a>: “It did look very much as though she was just posing for the camera. She wants to remind people that she is still around, although at the moment Harry is getting all the good publicity.</p>
<p id=”par-7_35″>“I feel that they’re both going slightly different ways to see if it works. They’ve tried it together, and it didn’t work so well. So, they’re doing it separately to see how well it works.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_39″>Seward believes that even though Prince Harry leveled many attacks against his family, the king’s youngest son could still be forgiven and possibly return to the royal fold one day but the same cannot be said about<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-was-able-to-marry-meghan-markle-because-she-didnt-do-this-1-thing-in-her-past.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”> his wife</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-9_31″>“I don’t see the same thing for Meghan,” Seward opined. “Deep down people still love Prince Harry, and they want to love him. I think they’re just very, very disappointed in him.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_67″><a href=”https://www.thesun.co.uk/royals/30997980/meghan-markle-chances-succeed-royal-didnt-fancy/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Sun’s</a> royal editor Matt Wilkinson added that Harry’s family tried to help Meghan succeed before she quit and dragged their names through the mud, saying: “I think the royal family gave her so many opportunities. They gave her staff, a house, paid for her wedding, gave her patronages, and made her a Commonwealth Trust ambassador. She had all these opportunities and was given so much to succeed.</p>
<p id=”par-11_27″>“I think they gave her everything they could, I don’t think they could have given her any more, but in the end, she just didn’t fancy it.”</p>
