Man shot, injured in East Garfield Park

A man was wounded in a shooting in East Garfield Park on Monday night, Chicago police said.

The man, 34, was walking into a gas station in the 3300 block of West Harrison Street at 9:27 p.m. when he was shot in the lower back, police said. He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in serious condition.

No one is in custody.
