Bears predictions: Week 6 vs. Jaguars in London

The Sun-Times’ experts offer their picks for the Bears’ game Sunday against the Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London:

Rick Morrissey

Bears, 27-17: The Bears continue with the Charmin Ultra Soft portion of their schedule. The only thing that could stop them from beating the Jags is a major jet-lag outbreak. This season: 4-1.

Rick Telander

Bears, 28-20: The Jaguars aren’t as bad as their record, and maybe the Bears aren’t as good as they hope after two straight wins. Jet lag is the sneaky deal here. Who’s wide awake? This season: 4-1.

Scoop Jackson

Bears, 33-20: The Jags have lost games this season to superior teams by 3, 5, 4 and 3 (with the exception of the blowout to the Bills). They’re sitting on the verge of figuring it out. Hopefully the Bears aren’t that team that they figure it out on. This season: 3-2.

Patrick Finley

Jaguars 27-26:  Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has the fourth-highest Pro Football Focus grade on passes of 20 yards or more. The Bears are vulnerable on deep passes with safety Jaquan Brisker out. This season: 5-0.

Jason Lieser

Bears, 27-24: The Jaguars have averaged 19.4 points per game, and the only top-15 defense they faced was against the Bills, who held them to 13 points. They’ve allowed nearly 29 points per game, have yet to get an interception and are the most penalized team in the NFL. This season: 4-1.

Mark Potash

Bears, 23-20: After picking on the Panthers at home last week, the improving Bears will find the sledding a little tougher against a team that is comfortable making the trip overseas. Early arrival in London makes a difference. This season: 4-1.
