<p id=”par-2_66″>The first meal of the day involves reading one particular book for Eugenie and her oldest son, Augie: <em>The World’s Wildest Waters</em> by Catherine Barr. While visiting Christie’s auction house in London, England, to see Blue: Art for the Ocean, an exhibition she helped get pieces for as Hauser & Wirth’s art gallery director, the Princess of York revealed Augie loves reading Barr’s book at breakfast. </p>
<p id=”par-3_39″>“We’ve got a book called <em>The World’s Wildest Waters</em>, which is backed by Blue Marine Foundation,” Eugenie told <a href=”https://www.hellomagazine.com/royalty/722285/princess-eugenie-sons-love-oceans-blue-marine-foundation-exclusive/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Hello!</a> magazine. “I see it every morning when Augie’s eating breakfast. And he’s like, ‘Mama!’ and then we go through it.” </p>
<p id=”par-4_25″>Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, welcomed Augie—full name August Philip Hawke Brooksbank—in February 2021. His younger brother, Ernest, joined the family in May 2023. </p>
<p id=”par-5_36″>“The children have to find the creatures in the pictures,” Eugenie went on. “And the next page is all the facts about the cuttlefish or the Great White shark or the seal. And Augie loves it.” </p>

<p id=”par-6_42″>Reading the book on marine life isn’t the only thing Eugenie shared about her kids. She also revealed that Ernest and Augie are big fans of the water. “They love swimming,” she said, noting “the sea in Portugal’s a little bit rougher.” </p>
<p id=”par-7_38″>“So we’ve got our feet in, but Augie is a fish,” she added. “He literally loves it.” Her oldest love of all things aquatic extends to decor. “We have whales and dolphins all across the walls,” Eugenie said. </p>
<p id=”par-8_39″>Eugenie and her kids may soon find themselves in calmer U.K. waters more often as the 34-year-old British royal reportedly wants to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/princess-eugenie-heart-set-u-k-report.html/”>spend more time in England</a>, establishing a more permanent home base where the boys can grow up. </p>

Eugenie’s sister, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/princess-beatrice/”>Princess Beatrice</a>, 36, is pregnant with her and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s second child. The couple announced the exciting news in a Buckingham Palace <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DAlYZhLM4vG/?hl=en&img_index=2″>Instagram</a> post on Oct. 1, 2024. </p>
<p id=”par-10_50″>It read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together early in the new year.” Together they share a daughter, 3-year-old Sienna. Beatrice is also stepmother to Mozzi’s son, Wolfie, 8, from a previous marriage. </p>
