<p id=”par-1_49″>Liam Gallagher and his brother, Noel Gallagher, have publicly clashed for practically all the years they were in <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/music/”>Oasis</a>. They bickered onstage and in front of fans, with their disagreements <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/oasis-noel-gallagher-revealed-band.html/”>sometimes turning violent</a>. When they both signed the same poster, Liam flung a chair at his brother in anger.</p>

Despite their success, they <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/liam-gallagher-heckled-brother-oasis-concert-giving-fing-dreadful-performance-rehearsal.html/”>couldn’t stop arguing</a>. Liam said this was just the way their relationship functioned.</p>
<p id=”par-3_49″>“It’s just me and me brother having arguments in a band,” he told <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/the-trouble-boys-1235088392/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Rolling Stone</a>. “If we weren’t in a band, we’d be havin’ it in the house. If we had a greengrocers, Gallagher’s Greengrocers, we’d argue over which way we set out the apples or the f***in’ pears.”</p>

<p id=”par-4_22″>At one show, both Liam and Noel signed the same fan’s poster, declaring different positions of power for themselves with their signatures.</p>
<p id=”par-5_36″>“They were signing a poster for a fan, and Liam signed it, ‘From the star of the stage,’” musician Chuck Cleaver said. “So then his brother wrote, ‘From the owner of the star of the stage.’”</p>
<p id=”par-6_8″>Noel’s writing immediately pushed his brother into anger.</p>
<p id=”par-7_19″>“Liam got ticked and tossed a chair at [Noel],” Cleaver recalled, adding, “He was yelling, ‘Wanker!’ and ‘Cheeky bastard!’”</p>

<p id=”par-8_49″>In 1994, the same year the band released their debut album, they performed in the United States for the first time. At a show in Los Angeles, the tension between the brothers <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/oasis-1st-show-public-signs-rivalry.html/”>boiled over on stage</a>. Before a show at the Whisky A Go Go, they unknowingly took meth.</p>
<p id=”par-9_51″>“I don’t know who f***ing got it but it was there and we all thought it was coke,” Liam said in the documentary <em>Oasis: Supersonic</em> (via <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.loudersound.com/news/oasis-1994-crystal-meth-show” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Louder</a>). “We’re doing big f***ing lines of it and it just kept us up for f***ing days. The band were not in the right place.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_24″>Liam shouted at Noel during the concert before hitting him on the head with a tambourine. This was the first of many public arguments.</p>

<p id=”par-11_37″>In August, Oasis announced a tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland in the summer of 2025. These will be their first shows together <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/oasis-noel-gallagher-revealed-band.html/”>after a 15-year hiatus</a>. This month, they announced tour dates in North America.</p>

<p id=”par-13_55″>Beginning in Aug. 2025, the band will play shows in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, LA, and Mexico City. Tickets to the North American leg of the tour become available on Friday, Oct. 4. The tickets to their U.K. tour sold out immediately, with 10 million people queueing for a chance to see the band live.</p>
