One person has died after a Sunday morning stabbing in Denver, according to the Denver Police Department.

6 people injured in string of Denver shootings, stabbings overnight

In an 11:26 a.m. post on X, Denver police said it was investigating a stabbing in area of South Lupan Street and West Evans Avenue. The suspect was arrested.

The person who was stabbed later died at the hospital, according to an update at 7:30 p.m.

No details about the suspect or the victim have been released. Denver police is asking anyone with information about the stabbing to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
