Aurora man killed in early Sunday shooting

A 20-year-old Aurora man died early Sunday morning after he was shot in what police believe was a targeted attack.

The victim self-transported to the hospital after the shooting, which happened at around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Aurora Police said in a release. He later died at the hospital.

The shooting happened in the 1700 block of Boston Street. Police have not arrested anyone but do not believe there’s an ongoing threat to the public.

No one else was injured in the shooting. Evidence at the scene suggested the victim, whose name has not yet been released, was targeted in the attack, Aurora police said.
