Broncos promoting OLB Dondrea Tillman to 53-man roster, source says, after Baron Browning’s Week 2 foot injury

Denver continues to make moves within its outside linebacker group after Baron Browning’s Week 2 foot injury against Pittsburgh.

The Broncos are promoting outside linebacker Dondrea Tillman to the 53-man roster, a source confirmed to The Post on Wednesday morning. Tillman, a former UFL standout, spent the offseason with Denver and was on the practice squad for the first two weeks of the regular season.

It’s the second OLB-related move the Broncos have made since Browning’s injury. On Tuesday they agreed to sign Andrew Farmer, a former Los Angeles Chargers pass-rusher, to the practice squad. Each of those moves will likely be made official Wednesday and a corresponding move on the 53-man roster is still required, too. That move, of course, could be placing a player on injured reserve or it could be a waiver or release.
