I can’t lie.” This could pose a problem for Underwood as she tries to balance being a professional and showing a compassionate side in her new role.</p>
<p id=”par-4_24″>Underwood continued, “I just can’t. You can tell. I feel like I’ll be very honest, but hopefully, I can be very constructive and encouraging.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_44″>Carrie Underwood was an aspiring singer when first learning auditions for <em>American Idol</em> were being held for Season 4. Then, the 21-year-old took a chance on fame and fortune after admitting that, from a young age, she had always wanted to be a singer.</p>
<p id=”par-9_43″>“I remember being at home in our little house in Checotah and seeing on TV that there were auditions in St. Louis,” Underwood said in a video shared by the series on<a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/C-IJdSlJKSz/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”> Instagram</a>. “My mom said, ‘If you wanna go, I’ll drive you.’”</p>
<p id=”par-10_51″>“I went from nobody knowing my name to tens of millions of people watching the show. I’m proud of everything that I was able to accomplish on the show, and I’m so proud of everything that I’ve accomplished since,” Underwood added. “Even if I go far away, this is my home.”</p>
