She has starred in acclaimed <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/movies/”>films</a>, gone on global tours with her <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/music/”>music</a> career, and made deals with multiple brands. Still, Lopez said she doesn’t feel much satisfaction. She shared why she hopes she never does. </p>

<p id=”par-2_27″>Lopez has been famous for over two decades. She has described herself as a workaholic and said that she has an endless desire to pursue her passions.</p>
<p id=”par-3_90″>“People try to get you to self-examine why you do the things you do or are the way you are. But I haven’t really thought like, ‘Oh, yeah, I’m a workaholic because I’m trying to fill this hole inside of me,’” she told <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.harpersbazaar.com/culture/features/a25725553/jennifer-lopez-second-act-interview-2019/” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Harper’s Bazaar</a> in 2019. “At the end of the day I just feel like I have a desire to create and sing and dance and act and make movies and write books and direct and produce and perform. I’m excited whenever I work on a new project.”</p>

<p id=”par-4_14″>While she likes what she’s doing, she admitted that her workload is often exhausting. </p>
<p id=”par-5_42″>“Sometimes I get tired,” she said. “I get tired a lot. But I never think, ‘I don’t want to do this.’ I just think I need a break. I really feel like I have a lot left that I want to do.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_41″>She said that despite all her accomplishments, she doesn’t feel a sense of satisfaction. This isn’t a bad thing in her eyes, though. Lopez believes that if she feels satisfied with her life, she won’t have the same drive to create.</p>
<p id=”par-7_38″>“I don’t know if I’ll ever get to a point where I’ll be satisfied and go, ‘I did it. All of it. I’m done. I got nothing else to say,’” she said. “I hope that day never comes.”</p>

<p id=”par-9_40″>“My instinct is to fill every single minute of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/jennifer-lopez-said-fills-single-minute-life-work.html/”>my life with work</a>, so I’ve had to learn balance,” she told <a href=”https://www.harpersbazaar.com/culture/features/a19181340/jennifer-lopez-interview-2018/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Harper’s Bazaar</a> in a separate interview. “When you take on too much, that can be the enemy of great.”</p>

<p id=”par-10_33″>Lopez’s ex-husband, Marc Anthony, agreed with the fact that she works too hard. While he found her drive impressive, he thought she could <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/marc-anthony-said-jennifer-lopez-stand-enjoy-life-little.html/”>stand to enjoy life</a> outside of work a bit more. </p>
