<p id=”par-3_22″>The process proved enjoyable for the actor-turned-royal. She “really enjoyed being back in front of the camera,” a source said (via <a href=”https://okmagazine.com/p/meghan-markle-really-enjoyed-being-back-camera-reality-show/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>OK</a>). </p>
<p id=”par-4_30″>“She was totally in her element, demonstrating her skills in the kitchen and sharing tips on how to be the perfect hostess,” they continued, noting special guests are a possibility. </p>
<p id=”par-5_39″>“It’s very likely a famous face or two will appear on the show in some form or another,” they said. That could mean <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/serena-williams/”>Serena Williams</a> or Meghan’s friend and fellow <em>Suits</em> alum Abigail Spencer just to name a few. </p>

<p id=”par-7_50″>According to public relations expert Lynn Carratt, Meghan’s Netflix show will “provide a glimpse of her softer side as it celebrates the joys of cooking and entertaining friends.” However, there’s also the concern that “it will showcase her seemingly perfect life. And the public may prefer a more relatable story.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_30″>Then there’s Meghan’s <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-hoping-lifestyle-brand-endorsed-familiar-royals-top-of-list.html/”>American Rivieria Orchard lifestyle brand</a> that’s currently in the works. (Meghan announced it in March 2024 and has since offered <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/expert-reveals-1-key-thing-meghan-markle-brand-successful.html/'”>glimpses of products</a> such as strawberry jam.) </p>
<p id=”par-9_51″>Like her Netflix show, there’s a lot riding on ARO. “If it succeeds, then it’s a massive leap forward and will take away from a lot of the negativity she’s had,” Mark Borkowski, a public relations expert, told<a href=”https://okmagazine.com/p/meghan-markle-upcoming-netflix-cooking-show-make-break-career/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”> OK</a>. “And it will make a lot of people take her very seriously.”</p>

<p id=”par-10_29″>Meghan isn’t the only one in the Sussex household with an upcoming Netflix show. Harry has his own program on the way—a sports docuseries about the world of polo. </p>
<p id=”par-11_28″>It will reportedly follow professional polo players using footage primarily from the 2024 U.S. Open Polo Championship, which ran for just over three weeks from March to April. </p>
<p id=”par-12_35″>Similar to Meghan’s Netflix show, no details on the name or premiere date have been released. Whenever it does begin streaming, it could “be an opportunity for him to showcase his true self,” Carratt said. </p>
<p id=”par-13_29″>“Having played polo at a high level since a young age, this is something he excels at,” she added. “Hopefully, this documentary will allow his personality to shine through.”</p>
<p id=”par-14_54″>Until then, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have three other programs currently streaming on Netflix. They include <em>Harry & Meghan</em>, their December <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/prince-harry-meghan-markle-unhappy-new-documentary.html/”>2022 docuseries</a> about leaving royal life, <em>Live to Lead</em>, which they produced, and <em>Heart of Invictus</em>, a 2023 docuseries following competitors on their way to the Invictus Games, which Harry founded. </p>
