With its expansive outdoor plaza serving as a bustling gathering space for baseball fans and families, McGregor Square (1900 Wazee St.) in Denver is adding another reason to sit back and relax this summer with its Movies at McGregor series. Enjoy popular flicks at the outdoor plaza all summer long on a giant LED screen. Admission is free. Bring a blanket and find a spot on the lawn or choose a table in the plaza — both are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Popcorn, candy, soft drinks and bar selections are available for purchase. The series kicks off with a Fourth of July double feature: “Top Gun” at 1 p.m. and “Top Gun: Maverick” at 3 p.m. Also this month, a Star Wars double feature is scheduled for July 20. It’s time for the 2024 Arapahoe County Fair, with four days of family fun from July 25 to 28. The fair takes place at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds (25690 Quincy Ave.) in Aurora.
