C H A N G E // A lot has changed since I first started on this journey and I have most definitely learned & grown so much from it! I started sewing on a hand winding Singer sewing machine, then graduated to a foot pedaling Singer sewing machine which I hated because if you pedal the wrong way, it’ll automatically reverse on you without you knowing 🙄. Then I went to high school where I was forced to take home economics and ended up using a home electric sewing machine and I thought I was in heaven with the million types of stitches that was available to me just by turning a dial. I remember the first time I ever used an industrial sewing machine at my very first part time job as a teenager working at the same place my mom worked! I ended up getting fired and my mom ended up quitting that same day HAHA!! It’s a long story! 😂😂 But I have come a long way from that first time I sewed on my mom’s sewing machine without her knowing and breaking all the needles and acting like it wasn’t me and blamed it on @aliiras_backdrops lol! I have outgrown sooooo many sewing rooms/spaces and I’m still learning! I guess what I’m trying to say is that it might be a long journey but it is well worth it! Just believe in the process and enjoy your journey because you will definitely learn a thing or two. If it’s your passion, you will do everything in your power to be better at it, and if you’re not enjoying it, then just quit it and do something else haha!!! Ain’t nothing wrong with starting all …read more
