McDonald’s is introducing Donut Sticks to its breakfast menu

While McMuffins and breakfast wraps are the obvious choice to go with your large coffee at the drive thru, McDonald’s are planning to push the boat out this February.

The fast food giant is set to serve up Donut Sticks as part of its breakfast menu, offering a cinnamon sugar-dusted alternative to sausage and egg.

The good news? The churros go on sale on February 20 for a limited time only.

The bad news? You won’t see them at your local just yet… they’re only going to be available in the US.

But before both you and your tummy start to grumble at this news, it’s worth mentioning that there could be a chance we’ll see them in the future, if the demand is high and the launch goes well across The Pond.

The idea of stick-shaped doughnuts isn’t a McDonald’s original.

We can’t be sure if the Hamburglar had anything to do with the stolen idea, but rival chain Dunkin have been selling Donut Fries since last July.

They’re said to be an ideal accompaniment to your breakfast brew, so we’re hoping they arrive on our shores before long.
