Donut Sticks to debut on the McDonald’s breakfast menu

Move over McMuffins. That’s a wrap, breakfast wraps. McDonald’s is set to launch Donut Sticks and they look delicious.

The fast food giant is adding Donut Sticks to its morning offering, a hand-held accompaniment to a cup of McCafe coffee.

The cinnamon sugar-dusted treats will be an exciting alternative to sausage and egg when they launch on February 20.

Available for a limited time only, the churros look like they could make anyone’s morning a little bit sweeter.

The bad news, though? You won’t see them at your local just yet… they’re only going to be available in the US.

But before both you and your tummy start to grumble at this news, it’s worth mentioning there could be a chance we’ll see them in the future, if the demand is high and the launch goes well across the pond.

The idea of stick-shaped doughnuts isn’t a McDonald’s original.

We can’t be sure if the Hamburglar had anything to do with the stolen idea, but rival chain Dunkin have been selling Donut Fries since last July.

They’re said to be an ideal accompaniment to your breakfast brew, so we’re hoping they arrive on our shores before long.
