Stefano Gabbana, the co-founder of Dolce & Gabanna, appears to be leaving comments on Instagram that shame women.
Gabbana apparently called Selena Gomez “so ugly” in the comment section of a post on The Catwalk Italia, a fashion account.
He also seemingly derided supermodel Kate Moss’ appearance in an earlier post.
It’s not the first time the designer has gotten into trouble over his social media presence.
Stefano Gabbana, the co-founder of Dolce & Gabanna, is under fire after apparently posting Instagram comments that appear to shame women. The designer has left several comments that seemingly deride women’s appearances on The Catwalk Italia, a fashion account.
On Tuesday, the account posted a series of pictures of Selena Gomez dressed in red, asking commenters to choose their favorite outfit.

But instead of voting for his favorite ensemble, Gabbana, a man who has worked in fashion since 1980, commented on Gomez’s appearance. “She’s so ugly!!!” he wrote.
Gomez’s fans quickly rushed to her defense on the platform, responding to Gabbana.
“Ae you blind???” someone asked. “Shame on you. She is one of the most beautiful women. Haters gonna hate,” another person commented. “Bullying at it’s finest!” someone added.
Tommy Dorfman, an actor on”13 Reasons Why,” of which Gomez is an executive producer, also chimed in. “You’re tired and over. Your homophobic, misogynistic, body-shaming existence will not thrive in 2018. It is no longer tolerable or chic. Please take many seats,” he wrote in response to Gabbana.
This isn’t the first time that Gabbana’s online commenting habit has gotten him into trouble.
Last week, when the same fashion account posted a picture of supermodel Kate Moss aking people if they liked her outfit, Gabbana weighed in. The designer simply commented “no,” on the picture, upsetting many people.
