Best tweets, photos and videos from Capitals’ Stanley Cup parade

The Washington Capitals have been parading through Washington in the days since claiming the Stanley Cup with their Game 5 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday. Members of the team have been celebrating with fans across the city — at bars, in the streets, in fountains, you name it — as the city revels its first-ever Stanley Cup victory.

The party continued on Tuesday with the official Stanley Cup parade. Here are some of the best tweets, videos, photos and takeaways from the team’s joyful, booze-filled, victorious trip down Constitution Avenue.
