Boulder woman killed in crash on Colo. 119


A 21-year-old Boulder woman died on Saturday morning after crashing her Subaru Forester into a tree on Colo. 119 west of Boulder.

Colorado State Trooper Gary Cutler said that the woman, whose identity has not been released, had been northbound at the 33 mile marker of Colo. 119 at about 9 a.m. when she drove off the road and struck a tree.

The woman, who was the only person in the car, died at the scene.

Cutler said alcohol and drugs are not suspected but excessive speed is being looked at as a factor. The road was partially closed as police investigated.
