A car struck and killed a bicyclist early Thursday morning in Aurora, police say.
The crash happened at 3:28 a.m. at East Hampden Avenue and South Kalispell Street.
The bicycle rider was declared dead at the scene, according to a report by Sgt. Mike Douglass.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, Douglass said.

The identity of the bicyclist is not being released at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
This accident is still under investigation.
